API and Integration Policy for PlaymakerAI
1. Purpose and Scope
This policy governs the terms and conditions for all forms of technical integration with Football Analytics Sweden AB's (PlaymakerAI) systems, platforms, and databases (collectively referred to as the "Service"). The policy applies to all users, developers, and third-party partners who have been granted written approval to integrate with our systems via an API (Application Programming Interface) or other sanctioned methods.
2. Access and Authentication
- Requires Approval: All automated access to PlaymakerAI's data requires explicit, written approval from PlaymakerAI.
- Personal Keys: If you are assigned an API key or login credentials for integration, these are strictly personal (or tied to your specific company) and must under no circumstances be shared with unauthorized third parties.
- Secure Storage: The user is responsible for ensuring that API keys and authentication codes are stored securely and are not exposed in public code repositories (e.g., GitHub) or unencrypted environments.
3. Guidelines for Use (Fair Use)
- Prohibition of Unauthorized Extraction: It is strictly prohibited to use unregistered automated systems, such as web scrapers or bots, to extract data from our platforms. All integration must take place via our official and approved interfaces.
- Rate Limiting: To ensure the stability of the Service for all users, we reserve the right to impose limits on the number of requests that can be made per second, minute, or day.
- Overload: Integrations must be designed efficiently to avoid unnecessary strain on our servers.
4. Data Protection and Security
- Intellectual Property Rights: All information and data provided via the Service is intellectual property owned by PlaymakerAI.
- Redistribution: It is not permitted to publish our locked premium data publicly or resell it for commercial purposes without a separate, written partner agreement.
- Data Minimization: Integrations should only retrieve data that is strictly necessary for the agreed-upon functionality.
5. Third-Party Services and Liability
- If you use a third-party service to integrate with PlaymakerAI, you are solely responsible for ensuring that the service complies with this policy.
- PlaymakerAI is not liable for any damages, data loss, or service interruptions resulting from errors in your integration or the third-party software you use.
6. Suspension and Modifications
- Violation: In the event of a breach of this policy, overloading of our systems, or suspected data breach, we reserve the right to immediately suspend your API access and your account without the right to a refund.
- API Modifications: We continuously develop our services and reserve the right to update, modify, or phase out API functions (deprecation). We strive to notify affected parties well in advance of major technical changes.
