Fantasy GW 22 – The round's best player is owned by 7 percent
The model ranks Sam Larsson highest in round 22 at 10.0 expected fantasy points. He is owned by 7.1 percent. Tobias Heintz is second on 8.8 and owned by 8.7 percent. Noah Tolf is fifth on 5.8 and owned by 2.4. Three of the round's best five play for the same club, in the same fixture, and none of them appears in one squad in ten.
Göteborg travel to Grimsta
IFK Göteborg face Brommapojkarna on Saturday at three. The hosts sit eleventh on 27 points having conceded 35 goals. Göteborg returned 54 fantasy points last round against Brommapojkarna's 31, and they arrive on three straight wins.
Larsson costs 8.8 and Heintz 9.9, which is steep but manageable for anyone who has already cleared out the dead assets below. Tolf is the cheap route in at 6.9. He is a defender rather than a forward, so his points arrive through clean sheets as much as through attack.
Seventy-nine percentage points in players the model has zeroed
Eight of the players the report lists carry 0.0 expected fantasy points, and together they are owned by 79 percentage points across the league's 58,268 squads. The largest is Robbie Ure at 28.2 percent, sold to Sevilla on 11 August. Elliot Stroud is owned by 15.3 percent and has played for Hull since August. Erik Botheim sits at 6.3 percent and joined Viking on 2 September, Noah Christoffersson at 4.7 and moved to Thun on 1 September, Rony Jansson at 3.9 and joined St. Pauli on 31 July.
Two of the zeros are injuries rather than transfers. Róbert Frosti Þorkelsson of GAIS, owned by 7.9 percent with 95 points this season, ruptured a cruciate ligament in training last week and faces at least six months out. Kevin Filling of AIK, at 2.7 percent, misses the rest of the year with a knee injury.
The eighth zero is the interesting one. Sead Haksabanovic of Malmö is owned by 10.0 percent, has 104 points this season and also sits on 0.0. No transfer and no injury has been reported. A booking against AIK on 7 September left him suspended for round 21, and that suspension is now served. The model appears to have read last round's absence as this round's. Strip him out and 69 percentage points sit in players who certainly cannot score, and ten in a player who, as far as anyone has said, is available.
The transfer planner wants to sell a player who has left the league
The report's transfer planner offers two worked examples. The second reads sell Bersant Celina of AIK, buy Charles Sagoe Jr of Kalmar, for plus twelve expected points across five rounds. Celina agreed an early exit with AIK in July and signed for Al-Ettifaq in August on a deal to 2029. The advice is right for the wrong reason, and anyone following it gains more than twelve points.
Bjerkebo is owned by 64 percent and ranks eighth
Isak Bjerkebo carries 4.5 expected points in round 22, eighth best, and is owned by 64.2 percent. He travels to Örgryte, a side that has conceded 47 goals and posts the league's lowest field tilt. It ought to be a good fixture, and the model still disagrees. Ownership has moved from 66.8 to 64.7 to 64.2 across three weeks, downward throughout but slowly.
He was the most selected player last round and returned four points. The most captained and most bought was Linus Carlstrand of AIK, who returned two. The round's best player was Otto Rosengren of Malmö with thirteen, owned by 6.8 percent.
Hammarby at Degerfors is the round's other thread
Victor Stange Lind holds 8.0 expected points, third best, at 32.5 percent ownership. Frederik Winther has 6.3 at 23.9 percent and Paulos Abraham 4.8 at 42.0. The opposition is Degerfors, the league's lowest expected goals and fourteenth in the table.
The cheap route into the fixture is Winther at 6.6. For anyone who would rather go against the league there is Montader Madjed at 4.4 expected points and 7.3 percent ownership. He costs 8.9 and is the only Hammarby player on the differential list.
The loan chip was the week's move
Round 21 averaged 52 points, up from 38 in round 20, with 125 the highest score. The league played the loan chip 2,959 times, dynamic duo 1,600, park the bus 1,533 and the free hit 1,151. That the loan chip dominates so clearly fits the rest of this piece: plenty of squads need a player they cannot afford to buy, and would rather borrow than rebuild.
Deadline falls at 14:55 on Saturday. Ure has been a Sevilla player since 11 August, and better than a quarter of the league has not got round to selling him.
